Congratulations to 2nd grader Vicente Miranda, Character Without Question recipient from Edgewood!

Every year, SBISD honors students district-wide who reflect a depth of character and a caring for human beings. Students are selected for demonstrating an enduring commitment to any or all of the following character traits: honesty/integrity, responsibility/dependability, respect, perseverance/effort, courage, caring/kindness, and citizenship/civic virtue.

Vicente’s counselor, Maria Ochoa-Chalico, wrote, “Vicente is one of the most hardworking students in the virtual setting. He always shows kindness and respect towards others. His teacher knows that he can depend on him when doing online assignments. Vicente knows how to cheer up others when they are feeling down and always tries his best no matter what the situation is.” Vicente was selected for his commitment to dependability, respectfulness and civic virtue.
